The Beginning of the End of This Wannabe Authoritarianism
Today, we begin to draw the line — and it’s the people, not those in power, who are taking back the future of this country.
Today, November 4, 2025, is not just another election day — it is the beginning of the midterms of 2026, and the beginning of the end of this wannabe authoritarianism that has tried to dismantle our democracy, corrupt our institutions, and strip away the moral compass of this nation.
This is a historic moment — one that will decide whether America continues down the path of cruelty and chaos, or reclaims its promise of justice, freedom, and equality under the law. Because what we are seeing today is not governance — it is extortion disguised as policy.
The Trump administration and its MAGA Congress are once again holding the American people hostage — keeping the government shut down for over a month, not to protect workers or veterans, but to strip healthcare subsidies from the most vulnerable among us. They are waging a ruthless fight to make millions lose access to affordable care, even as families battle record costs and economic uncertainty. The same administration that needed a court order just to continue the SNAP food assistance program — and still refuses to fully comply — also seeks to starve Americans of medical care.
And while they play these political games with people’s lives, they continue to block transparency — fighting to keep the Epstein files from being released to the public. They silence truth the same way they silence justice, showing far more efficiency in protecting pedophiles and shielding abusers than in feeding hungry families or serving the American people. And it’s the same MAGA Congress that, one month later, has still refused to swear in Adelita Grijalva — a Latina leader duly elected by the people of Arizona — because democracy only seems to matter to them when it serves their power.
At the same time, this administration has unleashed an unprecedented campaign of persecution against immigrants — including law-abiding families, long-time residents, and even U.S. citizens caught in its dragnet of fear. They have eliminated Temporary Protected Status for more than 600,000 Venezuelans — people who fled dictatorship, sought safety, built lives, paid taxes, and contributed to their communities — now left facing detention or deportation to the same criminal regime they escaped. Under this administration, immigrants are no longer seen as human beings, but as bargaining chips in a cynical political game.
This is not law and order — it is lawlessness wrapped in hypocrisy. It’s not leadership — it’s vengeance and corruption.
But today, the American people have their first chance to say enough — enough cruelty, enough chaos, enough of a government that uses fear as a weapon and hunger as leverage.
From now through 2026 and beyond, every election will be about defending the rule of law, protecting the Constitution, and standing up for every family that believes in fairness, decency, and dignity. It’s about saving the Voting Rights Act — the cornerstone of our democracy now under threat — and ensuring that every voice, especially those of minorities and working families, is heard and respected.
And yes, Democrats are not perfect — far from it. But we are the party that works for the people. We fight for children, workers, immigrants, seniors, and every person who believes in compassion over cruelty.
Today, we have the power to start something new — the beginning of the midterms of 2026, and the beginning of a national reckoning. The beginning of the end of this wannabe authoritarianism that thought it could bully, threaten, and starve America into submission.
So, stand tall. Vote loud. Vote proud. Because this — right here, right now — is the moment when we begin to reclaim our democracy, our freedom, and our future.

I dont expect perfection from Democrats. I expect them to do the hard work of governance which is gonna include impeaching the fucker
